High time to integrate U.S. Integrity’s solutions, Playfly Sports and Home Team Sports recently forged three major sports book deals with FanDuel and regional broadcast networks NESN, MASN, and AT&T Pittsburgh. The three-year deals will present FanDuel as the official sports book for the Boston Red Sox and Bruins, the Pittsburgh Pirates and Penguins, the Washington Nationals, and the Baltimore Orioles.
This comes in addition to Playfly’s wide breadth of partners in the collegiate athletic space. The industry newcomer now represents 20 Division I athletic departments, including partnerships with the Pac 12, Big East and Big 10 conferences, in addition to its work CSL Esports. The wide range of Playfly’s business is a natural landscape for U.S. Integrity’s solutions that will begin first with deep understand of integrity within each sport itself.
According to U.S. Integrity, sports betting is a $150 billion industry and this is assumed to be a conservative estimate. Roughly 50% of US residents are projected to live in a state that has launched legal sports betting by the year 2024. As of now, over a quarter of US residents live in a legal sports betting state and this number is expected to rapidly jump if and when one or all of the three most-populated states (California, Texas, and Florida) legalize their industry.
Twenty U.S. states currently offer sports betting, including Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, and Washington, D.C. Maryland, South Dakota and Washington recently passed bills to legalize sports betting, as well.
