Playfly Sports Earns Second Straight SBJ Best Places To Work Honor, Placing Top 3 In Sports Agency

BERWYN, Pa. (November 18, 2024) – Playfly Sports, the Fan Focused and Data Driven leader in sports media, marketing and technology, is proud to share that it has received a top workplace achievement based on employee-led feedback. For the second straight year, Sports Business Journal (SBJ) awarded Playfly with a Best Places to Work in Sports award in the sports agency division, placing within the top three companies.

SBJ awarded 26 organizations in its ranking as medalists for this prestigious award, with only a handful companies with the honor of being in the top three within their categories. The list highlights the top workplaces for businesses operating in sports and provides insight to job seekers and those currently employed in the sports industry.

The Best Places to Work in Sports is an editorial initiative developed by SBJ, an industry-leading news source on the business of sports. More than 100 companies nominated themselves to be considered for this honor. Following the submission, employees at the companies engaged in a thorough surveying process managed by Quantum Workplace, the trusted human resources technology provider. The results of the survey were compiled and analyzed to determine that 26 organizations had the highest levels of employee engagement and thus were named honorees of this prestigious award.

Playfly celebrated its four-year anniversary in September 2024, and its people-first approach to challenging the status quo across the sports industry has yielded strong affinity from its employee base that operates in 43 U.S. states, Canada, and Europe.

“Earning this honor for the second straight year is a testament to the incredible culture our team has built—one rooted in collaboration, innovation, and a shared passion for excellence,” said Craig Sloan, Playfly CEO. “Our Playfly teammates are at the heart of everything we do, and this recognition reflects our commitment to fostering an environment where everyone can thrive and contribute to our collective success.”

Quantum Workplace is the national research partner for 49 regional, national, and industry-specific Best Places to Work programs and their work is the most trusted and respected employer-of-choice program in the country.
