Playfly Sports' Craig Sloan Elevated to Company President

Berwyn, Pa. (October 10, 2023) – Playfly Sports, the Fan Focused and Data Driven leader in sports media, marketing and technology, today announced the elevation of Craig Sloan to President. Effectively immediately, Sloan, previously Chief Operating Officer, will assume the new title as Playfly plans for additional growth and expansion. Alongside CEO and Founder, Mike Schreiber, Sloan will lead the fast-growing organization’s next endeavors while overseeing several functions and Playfly’s core business divisions including Playfly Global Partnerships, Playfly Media, and Playfly Sports Properties.

Sloan’s promotion comes as part of a larger growth plan across Playfly Sports as the business adds to its capability seat, driving thought leadership in fan data via the Playfly Fan Score and moving into new areas such as brand consulting. Playfly’s recent hiring of Lindsay Amstutz, who will oversee the Playfly Media division, has been another recent change market for the thee-year-old organization.

After joining the team as part of Playfly’s acquisition of Impression Sports, Fox College Sports and Home Team Sports from FOX Sports in March of 2021, the sports media veteran was named Chief Operating Officer and converted the Home Team Sports business into a tech and data-enabled proprietary platform that aggregates local fandom and passion into one simple transaction for marketers, driving invaluable dollars to the local sports media landscape via MLB, NBA, and NHL teams. Previously, Sloan led the Home Team Sports sales team for nearly two decades. Under his leadership, the company secured partnerships with the country’s Regional Sports Networks, top professional teams, and numerous collegiate conference networks, delivering more than half a billion dollars in annual gross revenue.
