Eastern Michigan and Playfly Aspire Extend Ticket Sales Partnership

ATLANTA, GA – Eastern Michigan University (EMU) and Playfly Aspire have announced an extension of their nearly 10-year partnership. Over the next several years, Playfly Aspire will continue to deliver industry-leading sales and service tactics to Eastern Athletics and the George Gervin Game Above Center in Ypsilanti, while capitalizing on the wider array of offerings from Playfly Sports.

Since first partnering in 2015, EMU Athletics has become one of Playfly Aspire’s three longest-standing partners, generating nearly $3 million in new ticket and donation revenue and selling out several key non-athletic events at the George Gervin Game Above Center.

Scott Wetherbee, Vice President and Director of Athletics, on the partnership extension:

“We are pleased to once again extend our partnership with Playfly Aspire. Their ability to consistently and effectively execute strategies around ticket sales growth, fan retention, and customer service have been instrumental to the past decade of success at Eastern Michigan University.”

Jeff Czachowski, Senior Director of Sales, Service, and Operations at Eastern Michigan University and a founding member of the partnership with Playfly Aspire, who has earned five promotions since joining in 2012, shared his thoughts on the university’s extended collaboration:

“We’re proud of the growth Eastern Michigan has achieved through our partnership with Playfly Aspire. This collaboration has led to meaningful revenue increases and strengthened opportunities for our community. We look forward to continuing this success together, focusing on future innovation and shared goals.”

Justin Morelli, Regional Director of Sales and Service for Playfly Aspire, shared his excitement about the continued partnership:

“We at Playfly Aspire are grateful to EMU leadership for the trust they continue to place in our team and the record results we have achieved working alongside one another since 2015. We eagerly look forward to many more years of successful collaboration as we drive towards sustainable growth and enhanced fan experiences.”
