Playfly Sports Properties Signs New 10-Year MMR Partnership with Wichita State University

PHILADELPHIA (August 4, 2021) – Playfly Sports, the sports marketing and media company driving digitally-based solutions, today announced a new 10-year agreement with Wichita State University. The multimedia rights partnership will commence at the start of the 2021-22 athletics year and will span management of all key athletics touchpoints, including both traditional and non-traditional assets.

The partnership with Wichita State dates back to 2013 when then-CBS Collegiate Sports Properties, proceeded by OUTFRONT, first obtained the multimedia rights for Athletics.

As part of the new agreement, Playfly Sports will continue to manage all in-venue and event sponsorships, promotions, and corporate hospitality. Sponsors will have new engagement opportunities that include new digital signage, an enhanced Shockers radio broadcast and official Athletics website, and other social media platforms. Playfly Sports will also make a number of strategic investments, including 80 feet of 4mm courtside LED tables, two-sided outdoor campus LED signage, and baseball backstop LED signage.

The extended and expanded agreement reflects Playfly’s commitment to fostering deep relationships with its collegiate partners. Now managing multimedia rights for 20 unique properties, Playfly is forging partnerships with a digital-first mindset to help elevate these brands with innovation and strategic sponsorships.
