Playfly Sports Named To Newsweek's List of the Top 200 America's Most Loved Workplaces for 2024

BERWYN, Pa. – Playfly Sports earned a spot on Newsweek Magazine’s annual America’s Top Most Loved Workplaces® list, developed by Most Loved Workplace®, a division of Best Practice Institute (BPI), which reflects its commitment to prioritizing employee feedback and creating workplaces that employees love.

The results were determined after surveying more than 2.6 million employees from businesses with workforces varying in size from less than 50 to more than 10,000. The list recognizes companies that put respect, caring, and appreciation for their employees at the center of their business model and, in doing so, have earned the loyalty and respect of the people who work for them.

“First and foremost, thank you to Newsweek and Most Loved Workplace®, for recognizing the culture that we have grown at Playfly Sports in four short years,” said Kate McKinnon, Head of Human Resources. “Our team thrives on its PIPER values (People, Innovation, Partnership, Empathy and Results), and each Playfly employee brings that mentality every day as we continue our drive to being one of the top sports media, marketing and technology firms.”

The five critical areas measured to gauge employee sentiment were: the level of collaboration at the workplace, how positive workers are about their future at the company, how much employer values align with employee values; respect at all levels and career achievement. In addition, areas such as inclusion, diversity, equity and belonging, career development, and company leadership were identified and analyzed in relation to the five critical areas measured.

Playfly Sports promotes and fosters diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging through the four pillars of education, recruitment, development and community.  It strives to empower and embrace equal voice, opportunity, and expression, thereby elevating its culture to inspire members of Playfly and the surrounding community.

Acting on this commitment, Playfly’s internal Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) Council consistently works to amplify the voices of Playfly’s team members through employee-led Inclusion Resource Groups (IRGs): Playfly Women+, Playfly BIPOC, Playfly LGBTQIA+, Playfly Community & Sustainability, Playfly Health & Wellness, Playfly Working Parents/Caregivers, and Playfly Culture Committee.

These efforts have earned Playfly Sports a line of additional Most Loved Workplace® badges as well, such as: LGBTQ+, Diversity, CEO, Women, Parents and Caregivers, Volunteering, Young Professionals, and Career Advancement.

“When companies set up employees to succeed, the entire organization thrives,” said Louis Carter, Founder and CEO of BPI and Most Loved Workplace. “This year’s Top America’s Most Loved Workplaces® shows that fostering love of the workplace isn’t just the right thing to do—it’s a key driver of performance and retention. We’re excited to see the list grow to 200 companies this year, but that’s just the beginning. Our work won’t be done until every company in the world is Most Loved Workplace® certified and every employee loves showing up to their job each day.”
